In systematic coaching, the focus is not only on the coachee, but the social system which is linked to the coachees topic is also included in the considerations. Actions are influenced by values, rules and ideas inherent in this system. For this reason, the aim of systematic coaching is to help the coachee to better understand this system and to position himself/herself within it.
Therefore, coaching means supporting the coachee in becoming aware of her/his own subjective interpretations and to change them if necessary, to become aware of their own emotional interpretations of the environment, relationships and ideas and to change them,
to recognise, understand and bring into harmony complicated inner conflict between reason and feeling.
The foundation of systematic coaching, which is also the basis of my work, is a humanistic view of humanity that sees people as fundamentally good, willing to develop, and capable of making the best decisions for themselves. The coaching process is therefore characterised by an attitude of appreciation and respect for the views and considerations of the coachee. The coachee is an expert in clarifying all questions and problems that arise.
As a coach, I respect your experiences, your views and opinions, I value you as an independent and capable person. I listen to you and support you in gaining more clarity when considering the challenges you face. I accompany you in becoming aware of your own wishes and goals, in developing an action plan and in implementing it. I neither make suggestions nor give you advice, but rather focus on the process, respecting the coachee as being fully capable of finding the solutions within herself/himself.
As a coach, I am responsible for the process of clarifying the coachee's questions.
The coachee designs and defines the content of the coaching. He/She shares his/her thoughts and reflects on them during the coaching. The coachee is willing to work on the issue that has arisen and was brought into the coaching and wants to improve his/her life/work situation.
